About the Trade Union Committee
The JizPI primary trade union organization unites faculty, doctoral students and staff, serving as a public organization that protects their social and legal interests.
The Trade Union Committee operates on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Labor Code, the Law "On Trade Unions" and other regulatory legal documents.

These issues are under constant supervision at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, and the primary trade union organization performs important functions in this area.
Monitoring and oversight
Regular monitoring is carried out to improve working conditions and ensure safe and comfortable workplaces for employees.
Training sessions
Seminars, training sessions and awareness activities on labor safety rules are held to improve employees' legal and practical literacy.
Accident prevention
Regular awareness work is conducted on workplace accidents — including incidents both on and off the employer's premises while performing work duties.
Prevention of occupational diseases
Special attention is given to occupational diseases arising from harmful and hazardous production factors, their consequences and preventive measures.
Information collection and analysis system
The institute has established a system for identifying, collecting and analyzing information about accidents and occupational diseases that may occur during employees' activities. Measures are taken for each case, causes are investigated, and corrective action plans are developed.
Occupational health services
Special attention is paid to the conditions of operation of labor protection services. Occupational health services are ensured to perform their functions properly, taking into account technical and ethical aspects.
Workers' rights
The rights and interests of workers are under constant protection. Work to create a comfortable working environment, prevent occupational diseases and ensure the absence of accidents continues on an ongoing basis.

Main tasks and work
The Trade Union Committee participates in developing draft regulatory legal acts and technical regulations relating to the socio-economic rights and interests of members.
The Trade Union Committee conducts collective bargaining on behalf of employees, concludes collective agreements and ensures monitoring of their implementation.
Public oversight of compliance with labor law, laws, rules and norms on labor and environmental protection is carried out.
The committee organizes cultural and educational events together with members, health improvement activities, and physical education and sports engagement for employees and their families.
Identifying low-income employees and providing material assistance, providing vouchers and benefits, monitoring timely payment of pensions, sick leave and social benefits.
The trade union's activities in cooperating with social and non-governmental organizations, foreign trade unions, and establishing international relations are carried out.
