Development of the targeted Educational program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan
In recent years, interest in and demand for «Green Energy» has been growing rapidly around the world, including in Uzbekistan. Considering our country’s climate conditions, it is easy to understand that solar energy is one of the most pressing issues.
Under the ERASMUS+ Higher Education Capacity Building programme, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, 7 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and 3 European universities — Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Universidade de Évora (Portugal), and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) — held the first meeting of project participants and the opening ceremony (Kick-off meeting) of the international project «Development of the targeted Educational program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan (DEBSEUz)».
From Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, project coordinator, Associate Professor, PhD T. Berdiyorov and project participant, acting Associate Professor of the «Energy Engineering» department, PhD M. Anarboyev took part in the event.
